Honda Element was a compact SUV that debuted in 2003. Initially, available trims included DX and EX, and they both incorporated a 160-horsepower, 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine. In 2004, an LX trim was added, and in 2005, engine output adjusted to 156 horsepower.
The 2007 model year brought with it an output rise to 166 horsepower, a choice between five-speed manual and automatic transmissions and features aplenty. They ranged from four-wheel disc brakes and air conditioning to a rear windshield wiper/washer and alloy wheels. Real Time four-wheel drive was also an option, and if you got the SC package, you received a lowered sport suspension, halogen headlights, a custom grille, and more. The model went out of production in 2011.
