Honda S2000 was a sports car -- more specifically, a convertible -- that Honda released in 2000. Initially, the two-door, two-seater came in one trim, base. It incorporated a 240-horsepower, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder VTEC engine.
In 2004, the car got an engine capacity upgrade to 2.2 liters, followed in 2005 by an output adjustment to 237 horsepower. For 2007, a six-speed manual transmission came standard, as did everything from air conditioning, a limited-slip differential, and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes to high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights and alloy wheels. For its final model year, 2009, a CR trim was released. It offered a removable aluminum hardtop, a body kit, structural bracing improvements, wider rear tires, and a peak power indicator meter.
